Reverse Crunch (Machine)

How to do it

Adjust the reverse-crunch machine so the feet or lower legs are secured and the hip pivot matches the machine path. Curl the knees toward the chest while rolling the pelvis into the pad, pause, then return slowly without letting the weight stack slam.

Setup

Adjust the seat, back pad, handles, and foot or shin support so the hips align with the machine pivot. Secure the lower body, grip the handles lightly, and begin with ribs controlled.

Where you should feel it

Across the lower abdominal wall as the pelvis curls through the guided path, with the hip flexors moving the thighs. Avoid pulling only with the legs.

When to use it

Use for stable, progressively loaded reverse-crunch volume when body position and balance should not limit the set. Controlled sets of 10-20 reps work well.
