Seated Crunch (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Seated Crunch

How to do it

Sit facing away from the high digital-resistance cables and hold the handles beside your head or across your shoulders. Keep the hips planted as you curl the ribs toward the pelvis, pause with the abdominals shortened, then return slowly against the programmed resistance to an upright stretch without pulling with the arms.

Setup

Position a stable seat in front of the high digital-resistance cables and match both cable lengths. Sit with feet planted, hold the handles securely beside the head or shoulders, keep the hips fixed, and begin tall.

Where you should feel it

Across the abdominals during the curl and loaded return, with the glutes fixing the hips and the forearms holding the handles. The arms should not drive the repetition.

When to use it

Use for programmable seated abdominal hypertrophy and eccentric control with a stable lower body. Favor repeatable sets of 8-20 reps.
