Woodchop (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Woodchop

How to do it

Set one digital-resistance cable at the chosen high or low angle and stand sideways to it holding the handle with both hands. Rotate and draw the handle diagonally across your body, pause under control, then return slowly along the same path. Complete the set facing the other direction.

Setup

Stand side-on to the selected cable height with both hands around one handle and arms softly bent. Step away for tension, set an athletic stance, and keep ribs stacked over pelvis.

Where you should feel it

Through the core and obliques during the diagonal pull and loaded return, with the hips and inner and outer thighs preventing unwanted movement.

When to use it

Use for programmable diagonal rotational strength and controlled eccentric trunk work. Keep the selected angle consistent until directional history is formally separated.
