Standing Leg Curl (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Standing Leg Curl, Leg Curl (Digital Resistance)

How to do it

Attach an ankle cuff to the low digital-resistance cable and stand facing the unit while holding a stable support. Keep the thighs aligned and pelvis level as you curl the cuffed heel toward the glute, squeeze the hamstring, then lower slowly against the programmed resistance to a straight knee. Complete the set and repeat on the other side.

Setup

Secure the cuff above one ankle and stand far enough from the low digital-resistance cable for starting tension. Hold a stable support, brace the planted foot, keep the torso tall, hips square, and working thigh still.

Where you should feel it

Along the hamstrings of the working leg during the curl and loaded return, with some calf assistance while the core, glutes, and outer hips stabilize the pelvis. Avoid hip motion.

When to use it

Use for programmable unilateral hamstring volume, eccentric control, and side-to-side comparison in a standing position. Favor 10-20 reps per side.
