Hip Adduction (Resistance Band)

How to do it

Anchor a resistance band low and attach it to the ankle farthest from the anchor, then stand side-on holding a stable support. Draw the working leg inward and across the midline without rotating the pelvis, pause while squeezing the inner thigh, then return slowly as the band pulls outward. Complete the set and repeat on the other side.

Setup

Anchor the band securely at ankle height and fasten it to the leg farthest from the anchor. Stand side-on holding a support with the planted foot braced, pelvis level, torso tall, and working toes forward.

Where you should feel it

Along the inner thigh of the working leg, with the core, outer hip, and planted calf maintaining balance. Keep steady band tension without swinging.

When to use it

Use for portable unilateral inner-thigh activation and higher-repetition accessory work. Perform 12-25 controlled reps per side.
