Step-Up (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Step-Up

How to do it

Connect a belt or hold matched low digital-resistance handles and place one whole foot on a stable box. Drive through the elevated foot to stand fully on top against the programmed resistance, then step down slowly with the same leg leading. Keep the pelvis level, complete the set, and repeat with the other leg.

Setup

Set both digital-resistance cables low with matched lengths and center a stable box with clear cable paths. Secure a belt or handles, plant the whole lead foot, square the hips, brace the torso, and align the lead knee.

Where you should feel it

Primarily through the lead-leg quad and glute during the ascent and programmed return, with the hamstrings and calf assisting while the core and hip stabilizers control the pelvis.

When to use it

Use for programmable unilateral step strength, eccentric control, and side-to-side comparison. Favor 8-15 controlled reps per side.
