Upright Row (Resistance Band)

Also called Upright Row - With Bands

How to do it

Stand on the middle of a band holding a handle in each hand at thigh level so tension starts at arm's length. Pull the hands straight up the front of the body toward the chest, leading with the elbows, then lower slowly.

Setup

Stand evenly on the middle of the band and hold one end in each hand at thigh level. Match the band length, keep wrists straight, shoulders down, and torso tall.

Where you should feel it

Across both middle shoulders and upper traps with the biceps assisting and resistance increasing toward the top. Stop below any shoulder discomfort and control the return.

When to use it

Use for portable delt and trap work, warm-ups, or higher-repetition finishers. Smooth sets of 12-20 reps suit the rising resistance.
