Suitcase Carry (Kettlebell)

Also called Kettlebell Suitcase Carry, KB Suitcase Carry

How to do it

Stand tall holding one kettlebell at your side with the free arm relaxed. Walk the prescribed distance using short controlled steps while keeping your shoulders and hips level and resisting any lean toward or away from the bell. Stop, park the kettlebell safely, and repeat on the other side.

Setup

Stand beside one kettlebell, hinge to grip the handle securely, and stand with the bell hanging at your side, wrist neutral and arm straight. Level your shoulders and hips, stack your ribs over your pelvis, and face both feet forward.

Where you should feel it

In the loaded-side grip and forearm, with both obliques and the opposite-side trunk resisting the bell’s offset pull. If the bell swings or your torso leans, reduce the load and shorten your steps.

When to use it

Use for unilateral grip strength, anti-lateral-flexion core work, and loaded walking with a compact offset implement. Program equal distance or time on both sides to expose and train asymmetries.
