Leg Extension (Digital Resistance)
Also called Digital Resistance Leg Extension
How to do it
Attach an ankle cuff to the low digital-resistance cable and sit on a stable bench facing away from the unit with one knee bent. Keep the thigh still as you extend the cuffed knee until the leg is nearly straight, squeeze the quadriceps, then bend the knee slowly against the programmed resistance. Complete the set and repeat on the other side.
Setup
Place a stable bench so the digital-resistance cable stays tensioned and secure the cuff above one ankle. Sit tall holding the bench, keep the working thigh supported, knee aligned forward, and cable path clear.
Where you should feel it
Across the quadriceps of the working leg during the extension and loaded return, with the core holding the torso and thigh steady. Avoid lifting the thigh or snapping the knee straight.
When to use it
Use for programmable unilateral quadriceps volume, eccentric control, and side-to-side comparison. Favor 10-20 controlled reps per side.
