Behind the Back Shrug (Digital Resistance)
Also called Digital Resistance Behind the Back Shrug
How to do it
Stand facing away from the digital-resistance anchor, holding the handle behind your glutes with arms straight. Shrug your shoulders up toward your ears against the resistance, then lower under control.
Setup
Set the digital-resistance cable low behind you and hold the handle or bar evenly behind the hips. Stand tall with straight arms, neutral wrists, and enough forward space to keep the cable clear.
Where you should feel it
Across the upper traps during the shrug and loaded return, with the forearms maintaining the grip and the core preventing lean. Keep the motion straight up and down.
When to use it
Use for repeatable trap volume with programmable load and eccentric control. It suits deliberate sets of 8-15 reps without plate changes.
