Crossover (Cable)
Also called Cable Crossover, High Fly (Cable)
How to do it
Set both cable pulleys high and step forward with one handle in each hand, arms open and elbows slightly bent. Sweep the handles down and inward in an arc until they meet in front of your lower chest, squeeze, then return slowly to the stretched start.
Setup
Set both pulleys high and evenly, take one handle per hand, and step forward into a stable split stance. Keep wrists neutral, shoulder blades controlled, elbows softly bent, and cables clear of the arms.
Where you should feel it
Across the chest as the handles sweep down and together, with the front shoulders assisting and the core resisting the backward cable pull. Keep the shoulders away from the ears.
When to use it
Use for standing chest hypertrophy with continuous tension and a high-to-low path. It works well after pressing in controlled sets of 10-20 reps.
