Incline Fly (Cable)

Also called Incline Cable Flye

How to do it

Set the bench to 30–45° — shallower keeps the stretch across the chest, steeper shifts it to the front delts. Set the pulleys at floor level, lie back and hold a handle in each hand with arms wide and elbows slightly bent. Sweep the handles up and together in an arc over your chest, then lower slowly to a stretch.

Setup

Set an incline bench to about 30-45 degrees between two low pulleys and match both cable heights. Lie back with feet planted, shoulder blades set, palms facing inward, and a soft fixed elbow bend.

Where you should feel it

Across the upper chest through the closing arc and controlled stretch, with some front-shoulder assistance. Shoulder strain means the bench is too steep or the bottom range is too deep.

When to use it

Use for upper-chest hypertrophy with continuous tension and an adjustable arm path. It works well after incline pressing in controlled sets of 10-15 reps.
