Low Crossover (Cable)

Also called Low Cable Crossover, Low Fly (Cable), Low-to-High Cable Fly, Low-to-High Crossover

How to do it

Set both pulleys low and step forward with one handle in each hand at your sides, elbows slightly bent. Sweep the handles upward and inward in an arc until they meet in front of your upper chest, squeeze, then return slowly to the low stretched position.

Setup

Set both pulleys to their lowest positions and stand centered one step forward with one handle in each hand. Use a staggered stance, neutral wrists, arms low and open, elbows softly bent and fixed, shoulders down, and torso braced.

Where you should feel it

Across the chest with emphasis toward the upper fibers as the handles travel upward and inward, with the front delts assisting. The biceps hold the elbow angle while the forearms and core stabilize.

When to use it

Use for bilateral chest hypertrophy with a low-to-high line of pull that complements level and high-to-low fly patterns. Controlled sets of 10-20 reps work well.
