Close-Grip Bench Press (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Close-Grip Bench Press

How to do it

Lie on a bench beneath XR-Gear's digital-resistance handles and grip them with hands close together at chest level. Press up keeping elbows tucked near your sides, then lower with control back to your chest.

Setup

Set matched digital-resistance handles low and lie centered on the bench with feet planted and shoulder blades pinned. Hold the handles around shoulder width with neutral wrists and elbows close to the torso.

Where you should feel it

Primarily through the triceps during the press and programmed return, with chest and front-delt assistance. Uneven handle motion, wrist bend, or rib flare means the resistance or setup needs correction.

When to use it

Use for programmable triceps-focused pressing with independent handles and controlled resistance. It supports moderate-load strength or hypertrophy work and quick load changes between sets.
