Decline Bench Press (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Decline Bench Press

How to do it

Set the bench to –15 to –20° — a shallow negative is all you need, steeper adds little and makes getting set awkward. Set dual pulleys low and lie back holding the handles at chest level. Press up and together to full extension, then lower under control back to a chest stretch.

Setup

Set a shallow decline bench between the low digital-resistance cables, secure your legs, and match both handle settings. Lie back with shoulder blades pinned and start with wrists stacked over elbows beside the lower chest.

Where you should feel it

Across the lower-to-mid chest during both the press and programmed return, with the triceps assisting near lockout. If the front shoulders dominate, keep the handles over the lower chest and reduce the bottom range.

When to use it

Use for programmable decline pressing with independent handles and consistent resistance. It supports controlled strength or hypertrophy work and quick load changes without loading a bar over a decline bench.
