Floor Press (Kettlebell)
Also called Kettlebell Floor Press, KB Floor Press
How to do it
Lie on the floor with knees bent and one kettlebell secured at each shoulder. Press both bells together to full elbow extension over the shoulders, then lower them slowly until both upper arms gently contact the floor. Pause without relaxing and press again while keeping the wrists neutral and ribs down.
Setup
Clean or safely position one kettlebell at each shoulder before lying back. Plant both feet, keep ribs down, hold the handles with neutral wrists and bells resting securely on the forearms, and stack the elbows beneath the loads.
Where you should feel it
Across the chest and triceps as both kettlebells press, with the front delts assisting while the core controls the ribs and the forearms stabilize the offset loads. Lower both upper arms evenly.
When to use it
Use for bilateral pressing strength and hypertrophy with a shoulder-limited range and additional wrist-stability demand. Controlled sets of 6-15 reps work well.
