Incline Bench Press (Dumbbell)

Also called Dumbbell Incline Press, DB Incline Bench Press

How to do it

Set a bench to a moderate incline and lie back holding a dumbbell in each hand beside your upper chest. Press both dumbbells upward until your arms are nearly straight, then lower them under control to a comfortable chest stretch. Keep your feet planted, shoulder blades set, and wrists stacked.

Setup

Bench at 30-45 degrees, bells kicked up from the thighs, shoulder blades pinned. Start with the bells wide of the upper chest, palms forward or slightly turned in.

Where you should feel it

Upper chest through the stretch at the bottom, shoulders holding the path steady.

When to use it

Upper-chest work with more range and less shoulder strain than the barbell version. Good in the 8-12 range for size.
