Incline Bench Press (Resistance Band)
How to do it
Set the bench to 30–45° — past ~45° the front delts start taking over from the upper chest. Anchor the bands behind it and lie back holding a handle in each hand at shoulder height. Press both hands up and together to full extension, then lower under control back to the start.
Setup
Set a bench to about 30-45 degrees and anchor the band securely low behind it with equal tension on both sides. Lie back with feet planted and shoulder blades set, holding the ends beside your upper chest with wrists stacked.
Where you should feel it
Across the upper chest with resistance increasing toward lockout, plus the triceps and front delts near the top. If the shoulders dominate, lower the bench angle and keep the band pulling from below the upper chest.
When to use it
Use for portable upper-chest training, warm-up volume, or higher-repetition pressing without plates or a cable stack. The rising resistance emphasizes the top half and suits sets of roughly 10-20 reps.
