Standing Chest Press (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Standing Chest Press

How to do it

Set both digital-resistance cables at mid-chest height, face away holding one handle in each hand, and take a stable staggered stance. Press both handles straight forward to full elbow extension, squeeze the chest, then return slowly against the programmed resistance without letting the torso rotate or lean back.

Setup

Set both digital-resistance cables to the same mid-chest height with matched lengths. Step forward in a staggered stance, hold the handles beside the chest with neutral wrists, keep elbows slightly below shoulders, ribs stacked, and cable paths clear.

Where you should feel it

Across the chest during the press and loaded return, with the front delts and triceps assisting while the core, glutes, and calves stabilize the standing position.

When to use it

Use for programmable standing chest volume and eccentric control with independent handles and no bench. Favor controlled sets of 8-20 reps.
