Tricep Dip (Digital Resistance)

Also called Seated Digital Resistance Dip, Digital Resistance Dip

How to do it

Sit between two digital-resistance handles anchored at about shoulder height, one in each hand with a neutral grip and elbows tucked. Press both handles straight down to a full lockout beside your hips, then control the return until you feel the stretch. The seated position gives more range than a bar dip with far less load on the shoulder joint.

Setup

Seated upright with a digital-resistance handle at each side at roughly shoulder height, neutral grip, wrists straight, elbows tucked to the ribs. Sit tall and keep the ribs down so the arms do the work.

Where you should feel it

Along the back of the upper arm, peaking at lockout beside the hips. Digital resistance holds tension through the whole return, so the stretch should feel loaded too.

When to use it

The joint-friendly dip on XR-Gear kit. Use it when bar dips bother a shoulder, or when you want steady tension through a longer range — 10-15 reps after your main pressing work.
