Back Extension (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Back Extension

How to do it

Anchor the digital-resistance handle low behind you and hinge forward at the hips holding it at your waist. Drive your hips forward and extend your spine to stand tall, then hinge back down with control.

Setup

Set the digital-resistance cable low behind you and hold the handle at the waist or chest. Stand hip width with soft knees, ribs stacked, and consistent starting tension.

Where you should feel it

Through the glutes and lower back during the extension and programmed return, with the hamstrings assisting and the core maintaining alignment. Stop at neutral.

When to use it

Use for programmable hip- and back-extension endurance with eccentric control. Favor repeatable sets of 10-20 reps.
