Glute Bridge (Resistance Band)
Also called Band Glute Bridge, Resistance Band Glute Bridge
How to do it
Lie on the floor with knees bent, feet flat, and a securely anchored resistance band stretched evenly across your hips. Drive through both feet to raise your hips to a straight knee-to-shoulder line, squeeze your glutes against the band, then lower under control without letting the band shift.
Setup
Anchor the band safely beneath your feet, a platform, or low rack points so it lies evenly across a hip pad. Plant both feet about hip width with shins near vertical at the top and confirm the band cannot roll or slip.
Where you should feel it
In both glutes with resistance increasing toward the top, while the hamstrings assist. If the band rolls, knees collapse, or lower back arches, stop and reset the anchor, stance, or range.
When to use it
Use for portable glute activation or higher-repetition bridge volume without weights or a machine. The rising resistance emphasizes the contracted top position and suits deliberate sets of roughly 12-25 reps.
