Hip Thrust (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Hip Thrust

How to do it

Shoulders on a bench with the XR-Gear digital-resistance load anchored across your hips. Drive through your heels to full hip extension, squeezing the glutes at the top, then lower under control to reset.

Setup

Place your upper back against a stable bench and secure the padded digital-resistance belt or attachment evenly across your hips from a low anchor. Plant both feet so your shins are near vertical at lockout, keep your ribs down, and confirm the cable is centered.

Where you should feel it

Squarely in the glutes at full hip extension during both the drive and loaded return. Hamstring cramping often means the feet are too far away; lower-back pressure means you are finishing by arching instead of squeezing the glutes.

When to use it

Use for programmable hip-thrust loading with consistent resistance and quick adjustments. It works well for controlled glute strength or hypertrophy sets when you want less setup than a loaded barbell.
