Also called Chest-Supported Row (Gym Machine), Chest-Supported Row, Elevated Rows (Machine), Leverage Iso Row, Leverage Iso Row (Machine)
How to do it
Adjust the seat so your chest is supported and the handles begin with your arms extended. Pull both handles toward your sides by driving your elbows back and squeezing your shoulder blades, then return slowly to straight arms. Keep your chest against the pad and avoid shrugging.
Setup
Adjust the seat and chest pad so both handles are reachable with arms extended and align with the lower chest or ribs. Keep feet braced, wrists neutral, shoulders down, and chest against the pad.
Where you should feel it
Through the lats and biceps along the guided path, with the rhomboids and rear delts squeezing the shoulder blades. Avoid shrugging or lifting from the pad.
When to use it
Use for stable back volume close to fatigue when lower-back effort and balance should not limit the set. Controlled sets of 8-15 reps fit well.
