Finger Curl (Dumbbell)
Also called DB Finger Curl
How to do it
Sit with both forearms supported on the thighs or a bench, palms up, and hold one light dumbbell in each hand. Open the fingers slowly so each handle rolls toward the fingertips without leaving the hands, close the fingers to pull the bells back into the palms, squeeze the grips, then repeat under control without bending the wrists.
Setup
Choose light dumbbells with secure handles and sit over a clear surface. Support both forearms fully with hands just past the edge, palms up, wrists neutral, and each handle centered so it cannot tip or roll away.
Where you should feel it
Along the finger flexors on the palm side of both forearms as each handle rolls out and is drawn back into the palm. Keep the wrists and elbows still and both hands moving evenly.
When to use it
Use for bilateral finger-flexor endurance, independent grip loading, and forearm finishing. Perform 12-30 slow repetitions with loads that remain fully controlled at the fingertips.
