Lat Pulldown (Resistance Band)

Also called Wide-Grip Lat Pulldown (Resistance Band)

How to do it

Anchor the band securely overhead and kneel or sit tall with a wide overhand grip. Pull both hands toward your upper chest by driving your elbows down, pause, then extend your arms overhead slowly while keeping tension and avoiding a shrug.

Setup

Anchor the band securely overhead and kneel or sit directly beneath it. Hold both ends wider than shoulder width with equal tension, straight wrists, chest tall, and shoulders down.

Where you should feel it

Down both lats and through the biceps with resistance highest near the stretched top, while the rear delts assist. Keep the torso still and control the band overhead.

When to use it

Use for portable vertical pulling, pull-up preparation, warm-ups, or higher-repetition back volume. Smooth sets of 12-20 reps work well.
