Bulgarian Split Squat (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Bulgarian Split Squat, Digital Resistance Rear-Foot-Elevated Split Squat

How to do it

Hold matched low digital-resistance handles or connect a belt at the hips, stand about one stride in front of a stable bench, and place the top of one rear foot on it. Lower the rear knee toward the floor, then drive through the front foot to rise against the programmed resistance. Keep the pelvis square and front knee aligned, complete the set, and repeat on the other side.

Setup

Set both digital-resistance cables low with matched lengths and position a stable bench. Hold the handles or secure a belt, place the rear foot on the bench, keep the front foot planted, hips square, torso braced, and cable paths clear.

Where you should feel it

Primarily through the front-leg quad and glute during the descent and programmed return, with the hamstrings and calves assisting while the core and hip stabilizers control the elevated stance.

When to use it

Use for programmable unilateral leg volume, eccentric control, and side-to-side comparison in a rear-foot-elevated position. Favor 8-15 reps per side.
