Goblet Squat (Barbell)

Also called Landmine Goblet Squat, Barbell Landmine Goblet Squat

How to do it

Secure one end of a barbell in a landmine anchor and hold the loaded sleeve end vertically against the chest with both hands. Squat between the hips while keeping the chest tall and knees tracking over the toes, pause at a controlled depth, then drive through the whole feet to stand. Lower slowly without letting the bar pull the torso forward.

Setup

Secure the empty end in a rated landmine base and load the free sleeve safely. Cup the sleeve end with both hands at the chest, keep wrists stacked, elbows down, feet around shoulder width, toes slightly out, and torso braced.

Where you should feel it

Through the quads and glutes as the hips descend and rise, with the hamstrings and adductors assisting while the core and forearms stabilize the angled landmine load.

When to use it

Use for front-loaded bilateral squat strength and hypertrophy when a landmine offers a guided arc and scalable loading. Controlled sets of 6-15 reps work well.
