Split Squat (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Split Squat

How to do it

Hold matched low digital-resistance handles or connect a belt at the hips and step into a fixed staggered stance with both feet planted. Lower straight down until the rear knee nears the floor, then drive through the front foot to rise without stepping. Keep the pelvis square and front knee aligned, complete the set, and repeat on the other side.

Setup

Set the digital-resistance cables low with matched lengths and hold the handles at the sides or connect a secure belt. Take a fixed staggered stance with hips square, torso tall, both feet planted, and the front knee aligned.

Where you should feel it

Primarily through the front-leg quad and glute during the descent and programmed return, with the hamstrings and calves assisting while the core and hip stabilizers control the pelvis.

When to use it

Use for programmable unilateral leg volume, eccentric control, and side-to-side comparison with a fixed stance. Favor 8-15 controlled reps per side.
