Squat (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Squat

How to do it

Stand over the digital-resistance cable and hold the handle close to your chest with both hands. Brace your trunk and squat down between your hips while keeping your feet planted and knees tracking over your toes, then drive through both feet to stand. Control the descent and keep the handle close to your body.

Setup

Set the digital-resistance cable low, stand evenly over or just behind the anchor, and hold the handle close to your chest with both hands. Place your feet about shoulder width, turn the toes slightly out, and brace before squatting.

Where you should feel it

Through the quads and glutes during the drive and controlled return, with the abdomen resisting the cable pull. Keep the whole foot planted and knees aligned over the toes throughout the programmed resistance.

When to use it

Use for a programmable front-loaded squat without placing a bar on your back. It supports controlled strength or hypertrophy work, quick load changes, and consistent technique in moderate rep ranges.
