Incline Triceps Extension (Dumbbell)
Also called DB Incline Triceps Extension
How to do it
Set the bench to 30–60° — steeper sits you more upright, shallower puts more stretch on the triceps long head overhead. Lie back holding a dumbbell in each hand extended above your chest. Bend your elbows to lower the bells toward your head, then extend back to the top squeezing your triceps.
Setup
Set the bench to about 30-60 degrees and lie back with one dumbbell in each hand above the shoulders. Use neutral wrists, keep upper arms angled overhead, and point both elbows forward.
Where you should feel it
Through both triceps in the stretched incline position, with the front shoulders stabilizing each upper arm independently. Keep the bells clear of the head and elbows from flaring.
When to use it
Use for long-head triceps hypertrophy with independent loading and a neutral hand position. Controlled sets of 8-15 reps reveal side-to-side differences.
