Incline Triceps Extension (Resistance Band)

How to do it

Set the bench to 30–60° — steeper sits you more upright, shallower puts more stretch on the triceps long head overhead. Anchor a band overhead and sit back holding it behind your head with both hands. Extend your arms upward until straight, then lower back to a deep stretch with control.

Setup

Set a bench to about 30-60 degrees and secure the band behind or below it so tension runs past the head. Hold both ends evenly with neutral wrists, elbows forward, and upper arms fixed.

Where you should feel it

Through both triceps with resistance increasing toward extension, while the front shoulders stabilize the incline overhead position. Control the band through the stretched return.

When to use it

Use for portable long-head triceps work, warm-ups, or higher-repetition volume at an incline. Smooth sets of 12-25 reps suit the rising resistance.
