Kickback (Machine)

How to do it

Adjust the triceps kickback machine so the working elbow aligns with the pivot and rests securely on the pad. Extend one forearm until the arm is straight, squeeze the triceps, then return slowly without letting the elbow drift. Complete the set and repeat on the other side.

Setup

Adjust the seat and elbow pad so one elbow aligns with the machine pivot and the upper arm remains supported. Hold the working-side handle with a straight wrist and relaxed shoulder.

Where you should feel it

In the working triceps along the supported machine path. The pad should prevent shoulder movement; stop before any forced elbow or wrist position.

When to use it

Use for stable unilateral triceps volume near fatigue when torso and shoulder stabilization should not limit the set. Controlled sets of 10-20 reps fit well.
