Overhead Extension (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Overhead Extension

How to do it

Face away from the digital-resistance unit with a rope held behind your head and your elbows pointing forward. Extend both elbows to press the rope overhead until your arms are straight, then lower under control to a triceps stretch. Keep your upper arms still, ribs down, and neck relaxed.

Setup

Set a rope on the high digital-resistance cable, face away, and use a stable split stance with the rope behind your head. Keep wrists neutral, elbows forward, upper arms still, and ribs controlled.

Where you should feel it

Through both triceps during the extension and loaded return, with the front shoulders and core maintaining the overhead position. Avoid elbow flare and back arch.

When to use it

Use for programmable long-head triceps volume and eccentric control. Favor repeatable sets of 8-15 reps with a stable overhead posture.
