Reverse Grip Triceps Pushdown (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Reverse Grip Triceps Pushdown

How to do it

Set the digital-resistance cables high and hold a straight-bar attachment or matched handles with both palms up and elbows tucked beside your torso. Extend both elbows to press toward the thighs, squeeze the triceps, then return slowly against the programmed resistance until the forearms rise. Keep the wrists neutral and upper arms still.

Setup

Set both digital-resistance cables high and use a straight bar or matched handles. Stand centered with both palms up, wrists straight, elbows beside the ribs, shoulders down, feet stable, and cable lengths matched.

Where you should feel it

Through both triceps during the press and loaded return, with the forearms maintaining the underhand grip and the core holding the torso still. Keep both upper arms pinned.

When to use it

Use for programmable bilateral triceps volume and eccentric control with an underhand grip. Favor controlled sets of 10-20 reps with matched resistance.
