Reverse Grip Triceps Pushdown (Machine)
How to do it
Stand facing the machine and hold its bar or paired handles with both palms up and elbows tucked beside your torso. Extend both elbows to press the handles down, squeeze the triceps, then return slowly until the forearms rise. Keep the wrists neutral and upper arms still.
Setup
Adjust the machine so the bar or paired handles begin around lower-chest height. Stand centered with both palms up, wrists straight, elbows beside the ribs, shoulders down, feet stable, and torso tall.
Where you should feel it
Through both triceps along the guided resistance path, with the forearms holding the underhand grip and the core preventing rocking. Avoid curling the wrists or moving the upper arms.
When to use it
Use for stable bilateral triceps hypertrophy with an underhand grip and simple load progression. Controlled sets of 10-20 reps work well.
