Triceps Pushdown (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Triceps Pushdown, Tricep Pushdown (Digital Resistance)

How to do it

Set both digital-resistance cables high and hold a straight-bar attachment or matched handles with an overhand grip around shoulder width. Pin both elbows beside the ribs, extend them until the arms are straight, squeeze the triceps, then return slowly against the programmed resistance without letting the upper arms drift forward.

Setup

Set both digital-resistance cables high with matched lengths and use a straight bar or paired overhand handles. Stand centered with wrists straight, elbows beside the ribs, shoulders down, feet stable, and torso braced.

Where you should feel it

Through both triceps during the press and loaded return, with the forearms holding the overhand grip and the core keeping the torso still. Avoid moving the shoulders.

When to use it

Use for programmable bilateral triceps volume and eccentric control with a standard overhand path. Favor controlled sets of 8-20 reps.
