Bicep Curl (Machine)
Also called Bicep Curl (Gym Machine), Machine Bicep Curl, Curl (Machine), Standing Biceps Curl (Machine), Standing Curl (Machine)
How to do it
Set the seat so your upper arms rest flat on the pad and grasp the handles with palms up. Curl the handles toward your shoulders until the biceps are fully contracted, then lower under control until the arms are almost straight.
Setup
Adjust the seat so both upper arms lie securely on the pad and the machine pivot aligns with your elbows. Take the underhand handles with neutral wrists and keep your shoulders against the support.
Where you should feel it
Through both biceps along the fixed curl path and a controlled stretch near the bottom. If the shoulders lift or elbows slide on the pad, adjust the seat or reduce the load.
When to use it
Use for stable biceps volume when torso and shoulder stabilization are not the goal, especially for controlled sets near fatigue. The fixed path supports simple progression in the 8-15 rep range.
