Bicep Curl (Resistance Band)
Also called Curl (Resistance Band), Standing Biceps Curl (Resistance Band), Standing Curl (Resistance Band)
How to do it
Stand on the middle of a resistance band and grip an end in each hand with elbows tucked at your sides. Curl both hands up toward your shoulders, squeezing your biceps, then lower under control to full extension.
Setup
Stand evenly on the center of a secure band and hold equal-length ends with palms forward, wrists neutral, and elbows tucked beside your ribs. Stand tall, keep the band clear of your face, and brace before curling.
Where you should feel it
Through both biceps with resistance increasing toward the top, plus the forearms holding the band. If one side has more tension or the torso leans, stop and recenter the band.
When to use it
Use for portable curls, warm-ups, or higher-repetition biceps work without weights or a machine. The rising resistance emphasizes the shortened top position and suits controlled sets of roughly 12-20 reps.
