Close-Grip Curl (Resistance Band)
Also called Band Close-Grip Curl, Resistance Band Close-Grip Curl
How to do it
Stand on the center of a resistance band and hold a short bar or both ends close together with palms up and hands inside shoulder width. Curl toward the shoulders without letting the elbows travel forward, squeeze the biceps, then lower slowly without letting the band snap down.
Setup
Stand evenly on the band and use a short bar or close two-hand grip that keeps both wrists comfortable. Set palms up, elbows beside the ribs, shoulders down, feet stable, and enough tension at full extension.
Where you should feel it
Through both biceps with band tension increasing toward the top and the narrow grip emphasizing the outer/long-head region, while the forearms assist and the core prevents body swing.
When to use it
Use for portable narrow-grip biceps activation and higher-repetition arm work. Smooth sets of 12-25 reps suit the rising band resistance.
