Cross Body Hammer Curl (Cable)
Also called Cable Cross Body Hammer Curl, Cross Body Curl (Cable)
How to do it
Stand side-on to a low pulley and grip the handle with a neutral, palm-in grip. Curl the handle up and across your body toward the opposite shoulder, keeping the elbow tucked, then lower it under control to a full stretch. Complete the reps on one side before switching.
Setup
Stand side-on to the low pulley with the working arm nearest the stack and hold a single handle in a neutral grip. Keep the wrist straight, elbow pinned beside the ribs, shoulders level, feet stable, and torso braced.
Where you should feel it
Through the brachialis, outer biceps, and forearm of the working arm along the diagonal curl path, while the core prevents torso rotation. Keep the upper arm still.
When to use it
Use for unilateral biceps and brachialis hypertrophy with continuous cable tension and a diagonal neutral-grip path. Perform 10-20 controlled reps per side.
