Cross Body Hammer Curl (Resistance Band)

Also called Band Cross Body Hammer Curl

How to do it

Anchor the band low and take one end with a neutral, palm-in grip. Curl your hand up and across your body toward the opposite shoulder while keeping the elbow tucked, then lower slowly to full extension. Complete the reps on one side before switching.

Setup

Anchor the band securely low to the working side and hold one end with a neutral grip. Stand with the wrist straight, elbow pinned beside the ribs, shoulders level, feet stable, and enough distance for starting tension.

Where you should feel it

Through the brachialis, outer biceps, and forearm with band tension increasing along the diagonal curl, while the core prevents torso rotation. Control the lighter return range.

When to use it

Use for portable unilateral biceps and brachialis activation and higher-repetition arm work. Perform 12-25 smooth reps per side.
