Hammer Curl (Digital Resistance)

Also called Digital Resistance Hammer Curl, Single-Arm Hammer Curl (Digital Resistance), One-Arm Hammer Curl (Digital Resistance)

How to do it

Set one digital-resistance handle low and stand facing the unit, holding it in one hand with the palm facing your thigh. Keep that upper arm pinned at your side as you curl the handle toward your shoulder with the palm still facing in, squeeze the biceps, then lower under control until the elbow is fully extended. Finish all reps on one arm before switching sides, keeping the wrist neutral and the torso from leaning away from the load.

Setup

Set one digital-resistance handle low and stand facing the unit, feet hip width, holding the handle in one hand with a neutral, palm-in grip. Pin that elbow to your side, keep the wrist neutral, shoulders down, and brace the torso so it does not twist toward the working arm.

Where you should feel it

Through the biceps and thumb-side forearms during the curl and loaded return, with the core holding the torso still. Avoid rotating the palms upward.

When to use it

Use for programmable neutral-grip curl volume and controlled eccentric work. Favor repeatable sets of 8-15 reps.
