Reverse Curl (Cable)

Also called Reverse Cable Curl

How to do it

Stand at a low cable with a straight-bar attachment and take a shoulder-width overhand grip, arms extended and elbows tucked. Curl the bar toward your shoulders without bending your wrists or letting your elbows drift forward, then lower slowly to full extension without letting the stack rest.

Setup

Attach a straight bar to the low pulley and take a shoulder-width overhand grip. Stand centered with straight wrists, elbows tucked, shoulders down, and light cable tension at the bottom.

Where you should feel it

Through the top and thumb-side forearms with the biceps assisting throughout the curl and continuous return. Avoid wrist flexion or torso sway.

When to use it

Use for forearm-focused elbow-flexion hypertrophy with continuous tension and easy load changes. Controlled sets of 10-15 reps work well.
