V-Bar Pullup (Bodyweight)

How to do it

Secure a V-bar attachment over a pull-up bar and verify that it cannot slide before loading it. Hang from the neutral handles with arms long, pull your chest toward the bar by driving the elbows down, then lower slowly to a controlled full hang without swinging.

Setup

Use only a V-bar attachment that sits securely on a stable pull-up bar. Hold both neutral handles evenly, begin from a braced dead hang, and keep the attachment centered.

Where you should feel it

Through the lats and biceps as the elbows drive down, with the forearms gripping and the core preventing swing. Stop if the attachment shifts.

When to use it

Use for neutral-grip vertical pulling when fixed parallel handles are unavailable. It suits strength or hypertrophy sets performed with a verified secure setup.
