Push Press (Kettlebell)
Also called Kettlebell Push Press, KB Push Press
How to do it
Hold one kettlebell in the rack position at your shoulder. Dip a few inches by bending your knees with your torso upright, drive through your legs, and use that momentum to press the bell overhead to a straight arm. Lower it under control to the rack, reset, and complete the set before repeating on the other side.
Setup
Clean one kettlebell securely into the rack with the handle diagonal across the palm, wrist neutral, elbow close, feet around hip width, knees tracking over toes, and torso tall and braced.
Where you should feel it
Through the quads and glutes during the dip and drive, then the working front delt and triceps as the bell finishes overhead. The calves transfer force while the core and forearm resist the offset load.
When to use it
Use for unilateral explosive pressing, side-to-side assessment, and total-body power with an offset load. Perform crisp sets of 3-8 reps per side.
