Stiff-Legged Deadlift (Resistance Band)

How to do it

Stand on the anchored resistance band with feet hip-width and grip the band in front of your thighs. Hinge at the hips, pushing them back with a slight knee bend until you feel a hamstring stretch, then squeeze glutes to return upright.

Setup

Stand evenly on the band with feet hip width and hold both ends against the thighs. Match the band length, keep knees nearly straight but unlocked, arms long, and torso braced.

Where you should feel it

Primarily through the hamstrings with the glutes assisting and resistance increasing as you stand. Keep the spine neutral and control the band into the stretch.

When to use it

Use for portable hamstring hinge work, warm-ups, or higher-repetition volume. Smooth sets of 12-20 reps suit the rising resistance.
