Calf Press (Resistance Band)

How to do it

Loop a resistance band under the balls of your feet while seated with knees extended, anchoring the other end securely. Press your toes down against the band to full extension, then return slowly to a stretched position.

Setup

Sit with the torso supported and both legs extended, knees softly unlocked. Loop the band securely over the balls of both feet, hold or anchor the other ends evenly, and keep feet parallel.

Where you should feel it

Through both calves with resistance increasing as the toes press away, while the quads hold the knees and the core maintains position. Control the band into the stretch.

When to use it

Use for portable straight-knee calf work, warm-ups, or high-repetition volume. Smooth sets of 15-30 reps suit the rising resistance.
