Calf Raise (Resistance Band)
Also called Calf Raises (Resistance Band), Calf Raises - With Bands, Standing Calf Raise (Resistance Band)
How to do it
Stand on the middle of a band with the balls of the feet, holding an end in each hand with equal tension on both sides. Rise onto the toes against the band until the calves are fully contracted, then lower the heels slowly to a stretch.
Setup
Stand evenly on the center of a secure band with pressure through the balls of both feet and hold equal-length ends at your sides or shoulders. Keep the band clear of your face, stand tall, and align both ankles before starting.
Where you should feel it
Through both calves with resistance increasing toward the top, plus a controlled ankle stretch as the heels lower. If one side has more tension or an ankle rolls, stop and recenter the band.
When to use it
Use for portable calf training, warm-ups, or higher-repetition work without weights or a machine. The rising resistance emphasizes the shortened top position and suits controlled sets with pauses.
