Seated Calf Raise (Cable)

How to do it

Sit with the balls of your feet on the platform and the cable attached over your thighs via a belt or pad. Press through your toes to raise your heels, then lower under control for a full stretch.

Setup

Sit with knees near 90 degrees and the balls of both feet on a raised platform. Route the low cable through a secure padded belt or thigh attachment centered just above the knees.

Where you should feel it

Deep in both lower calves through continuous cable tension, including the controlled bottom stretch. Keep the knees and attachment stable.

When to use it

Use for bent-knee calf hypertrophy with continuous tension and small load adjustments. Controlled sets of 10-20 reps fit well.
